Hello Lindsey
I have been making Delia’s Traditional Christmas Pudding for many years, very successfully.
I now find myself living permanently in Ireland, having relocated from Oxford, where I am unable to purchase Barley Wine in any form.
Please can you suggest an alternative to the Barley Wine or should I just increase the amount of Stout in the recipe to compensate?
I would appreciate any suggestions you might have

You can use strong dry cider or more of the stout or another strong ale.
