I always make Etty's sausage rolls in advance at Christmas & then freeze them uncooked. I see that the recipe now says to freeze after cooking. Is this what Delia recommends?

Hello,
You can do either depending on what suits you best.
Delia cooks, cools and freezes but you can open-freeze the uncooked sausage rolls (before you glaze them with egg wash) until solid, then store them in a rigid plastic container. Then glaze them and cook from frozen, allowing an extra 10 minutes’ cooking time for defrosting.
Or if they are cooked and frozen, defrost them for an hour at room temperature and then warm them in a hot oven for 5 minutes.
Now on a nationwide tour until November 2024, Awful Auntie is visiting over 25 venues nationwide and three lucky members have the chance of winning four tickets each to see this production in our competition with the Birmingham Stage Company.
